I was thinking about what my decorating style is - I know it is focused on bright colours; and there is a lot of mismatched items (or should I say "artistic juxtapositions") happening. So maybe it is a bit boho, a bit eclectic, a bit kitsch and a bit Pearlie. I will come up with a name for it as it gets closer to being finished.
I have learned that kitsch is in the eye of the beholder and this little collection if my idea of kitsch. The owl is a moneybox given to me by a favorite aunt when I was about 6 and has traveled with me on every move since then. The wind up toys were some bargains (I think they were about $5)I got off Ebay a couple of years ago.
